WWDC : 13” MacBook Pro announced and MacBook Air Price Drop
Lots going on at the Apple WWDC Conference. Apple just announced that their 13-inch MacBook is getting updated to MacBook Pro specifications, at a lower price than the original aluminium MacBook it will replace. It will also have an impressive seven hour built-in battery.
The MacBook Air is also getting a price drop and will be available in two models. The base price has also been lowered to $1,499 for a 1.86 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo system with a 120GB hard drive and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics, and a 2.13 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo system with a 128GB solid state drive and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics for $1,799.

The 2.26 GHz, 13-inch MacBook Pro, for a suggested retail price of $1,199 (US), includes:
· 13.3-inch widescreen LED-backlit 1280 x 800 glossy display;
· 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 3MB shared L2 cache;
· 1066 MHz front-side bus;
· 2GB 1066 MHz DDR3 SDRAM, expandable to 8GB;
· NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics;
· 160GB serial ATA hard drive running at 5400 rpm, with Sudden Motion Sensor;
· a slot-load 8X SuperDrive® with double-layer support (DVD+/-R DL/DVD+/-RW/CD-RW) optical drive;
· Mini DisplayPort for video output (adapters sold separately);
